Kristaps Platačs ★

Hi, my name is Kristaps

I was a professional volleyball player for ten years and also played for the Latvian national team. On the court, I learned what now comes in handy when I have a camera in my hands: the most important moments happen quickly, they can’t be repeated, and they rarely look “perfect.”

I don’t make people pose unnecessarily, and I don’t retouch photos beyond recognition.
I capture what’s happening right before my eyes—the excitement before saying “I do,” the tension in the ring, the energy of a concert, and a team’s joy after a victory.

What I photograph:
- Weddings, from the morning excitement to the reception
- Sports games, tournaments, and team photos
- Concerts, fight nights, and other events

In addition to photos, I also shoot short videos: event highlights and content for social media.

If you have an event coming up that you’d like to capture, or if you just want to pose in front of the camera -> Message me
