Eurazeo Photo Prize 2026: A 20,000-euro grant for a professional photographer
Professional photographers from Latvia can submit an idea for a new project to the Eurazeo Photo Prize 2026 and compete for a 20,000-euro grant.

💶 The grant amount is 20,000 euros.
Unlike in previous years, Eurazeo is not looking for a completed photo series this time. Applicants must propose a new project that the winner will carry out within six months.
Can people from Latvia participate? Yes.
The competition is open to professional photographers regardless of nationality or place of residence. This means that professional photographers from Latvia are also eligible to apply.
This competition is not intended solely for beginners or amateurs. Your application must demonstrate professional experience, your existing portfolio, and the ability to carry out a serious, long-term project.
Contest Theme
The theme for 2026 is:
“Stories of Europe.”
The organizers invite participants to portray a Europe that is changing, evolving, and thinking about the future.
Suitable projects might focus on:
* people and communities in various regions of Europe;
* migration and identity;
* urban and rural transformations;
* work, the economy, and lifestyle;
* climate and environmental issues;
* Europe’s borders, history, and future;
* the place of the Baltic states in today’s Europe.
For Latvian photographers, this is a great opportunity to present a story from a Baltic perspective, provided it also addresses a broader European issue.
📮 What should be submitted?
The application must include:
* a detailed resume;
* a completed photo essay or a portfolio of 50 images;
* image captions;
* a completed and signed application form;
* a project proposal letter of up to 5,000 characters;
* a work methodology and technical plan;
* the project budget and estimated expenses.
Images must be in JPG format and have a resolution of at least 8 megapixels. Applications must be submitted electronically to the email address specified by the competition.
