My name is Māris—a wedding photographer in Latvia who sees photography not just as a job, but as a way to preserve life’s most important moments.

I was born and raised in Sēlija, but I currently live in the charming city of Ogre. For nearly ten years now, I’ve been doing what brings me the greatest fulfillment in life—photographing people and their stories. I pour my heart and soul into this creative process ❤️

I became fascinated with photography as a child, flipping through family albums and observing just how much emotion could fit into a single frame. Those photos contained love, closeness, and memories that hold lasting value.
My journey as a photographer really began after high school, when I bought my first camera—a little “soapbox.” I photographed flowers in a meadow, my cat in the yard… and I had no idea that this would be the beginning of a story that would continue for years.

If you ask me what I photograph, the answer is simple—people and emotions. I capture the values that make life worth living: love, happiness, joy, family, and friendship. These are moments that pass quickly but remain in photographs forever.

My main specialization is wedding photography and photojournalism. I work in a documentary style, letting events unfold naturally and capturing genuine glances, smiles, and touching moments.
In addition, I also offer couple photo sessions, family photo sessions, christening photography, maternity photo sessions, and individual photo sessions—because every person and every story is unique and deserves to be captured.

It’s very important to me that people feel free and at ease in front of the camera. I’ll help you relax, go with the flow, and enjoy the moment. The final result is never just my work—we create it together, in a spirit of trust and a relaxed atmosphere.
