proportfolio.pro launches: a free international portfolio platform for photographers, videographers and creatives — one that keeps working while its authors sleep

proportfolio.pro is a free international platform where photographers, videographers, models, make-up artists, stylists and photo studios publish their portfolio in a way that gets found — not only by people, but by Google Images and by the new generation of AI search engines. The platform was created by Latvian photographer Andrejs Zavadskis, who has spent more than 20 years behind the camera and built the tools he wished he had had at the start of his own career.

Why it was built

In 2026 the biggest problem for a creative professional is not the camera and not the craft — it is visibility. A photographer's work lives on Instagram, where nobody finds it three days later; a personal website costs money, goes stale and never gets updated; and the client who needs a "wedding photographer in Lisbon" or a "product photographer in Berlin" is searching on Google — and, increasingly, asking ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude.

"I am a photographer myself, and I kept seeing the same thing: our work is beautiful, but invisible. Instagram swallows it, websites sit empty, and the client ends up with whoever is best at advertising rather than whoever is best at photography," says Andrejs Zavadskis, creator of proportfolio.pro. "I wanted a place where a creative uploads their work once, and from then on the platform does the work for them — every day, every night. Your portfolio works even while you sleep."

The problems it solves

1. Work that nobody can find. Every image on the platform gets its own public page with a title, author, category and description — exactly what Google Images rewards. The platform automatically writes image descriptions with AI (invisible to the author, visible to search engines), maintains an image sitemap and publishes structured data about the author and copyright, so the photographer's name appears next to the picture in search results.

2. The age of AI search. proportfolio.pro is built to be read and cited by AI search engines. The platform's own statistics show it being crawled regularly by OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Meta and other AI systems — hundreds of thousands of visits a month. When a client asks a chatbot to "recommend a photographer for product photography", there is now a real chance the answer includes a proportfolio author.

3. Administrative chaos. Creatives lose time and money not behind the camera but in Word documents — quotes, contracts, invoices. On the platform all of this lives in one place and is unlocked with points earned through activity.

4. Competitions nobody hears about. Dozens of free photography competitions with serious prizes run every month around the world, but the information is scattered. The platform collects, verifies and presents them in a single calendar.

• A portfolio that is free and does not expire. A profile with works, genres, city, prices and contacts; a public catalogue by profession, genre and location; a clean portfolio page to share with clients.
• Six languages. proportfolio.pro is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Russian — the author writes once, the platform translates the profile and the descriptions of the works.
• Competition calendar. The platform currently tracks 25 active international photography competitions with a combined prize fund of more than €60,000 — free to enter only, with verified deadlines, reminders and a clear note on which competitions are open to participants worldwide.
• Tools for working with clients — unlocked with points earned through activity: a cost calculator (what a shoot really costs me and what to charge, with country coefficients), price quotes with a link where the client accepts in one click — with optional package choices, more than 40 contract templates (photo session, wedding, commercial, licence, model release, TFP, UGC content…) that the client can accept electronically via a link, an invoicing system with a client register and VAT scenarios, a client questionnaire with automatic risk analysis, an illustrated posing survey for models and clients, and a preparation guide the photographer sends to the client before the session.
• Statistics you cannot get anywhere else. Authors see how many times their portfolio was opened by people, how many by Google, and how many by AI search engines; which works are viewed and from which countries; how many clients opened the quotes and contracts they sent.
• A community. A forum, classifieds, job offers, a news feed with authors' latest work, a weekly editor's choice and a popularity ranking.

What makes proportfolio.pro different

• Built from the inside. The creator is a working photographer; every feature comes from a real need — from the contract that was missing before a wedding to the questionnaire that protects against a client expecting "unlimited revisions".
• AI works for the author, not against them. The platform does not replace photographers with generated images — it uses AI to describe, translate and surface real work by real people. The author's own texts always take priority; AI only adds to them.
• A fair system. There are no paid plans that buy visibility. Featured placement and tools are earned through activity — published work, reviews, participation in the community. Profiles with a handful of images do not crowd out those who work.
